The full content offering can be accessed and watched free of advertising for a monthly subscription of €8.99 ($8.99/ £6.99) through the App Store. This subscription helps to cover the cost of securing the Actually you can! Based on your IP address RTE will determine which TV shows they can offer you. Popular shows like Fair City are available on RTE International version worldwide. Syndicated shows such as EastEnders, Home and Away, Neighbours and UEFA Champions League are only available on the Irish domestic version of RTE Player.
RTÉ Player International This App is at a minimum awful, it’s slow to respond when searching for programs, can’t find stuff and when something does finally come online it almost always freezes up with only the sound playing. This has happened every day since the new App came online. While this App may have greater potential for live and archived viewing Vs the old player it usually doesn’t work whereas the old one always did. Please RTÉ fix this or allow us to use the old one limited
